Firewood Delivery

Delivery to qualified clients of Sharing House.

Need pickup trucks with drivers.

Starting NOW through March.

We deliver firewood to Sharing House clients. Last year we made 11 client deliveries which maxed out our available resources.

This year our goal is to make 25 to 30 deliveries! To make that happen two things are needed. First, we have stretched our delivery window. We are starting NOW and will continue through March.

But second, we need additional volunteer drivers who have pickup trucks to transport the firewood to the clients.

We have the firewood available to make as many of 100 deliveries! But we need YOUR help to get that wood to our neighbors who can really use it to keep warm this coming winter.

Each delivery typically takes 1½ hour.

Deliveries scheduled to fit your availability.

We will provide load and unload helpers.

For safety reasons, at least 2 (prefer 3) people (prefer mix of male and female) make a delivery to a clients.

WNC Firewood is a ministry of First UMC and Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd to provide free firewood home heating assistance to our qualified neighbors in Transylvania County.
