Need Firewood?

If you are in need of home firewood heating assistance, please contact Sharing House listed on our Partners page. We only supply firewood to clients qualified through Sharing House.

Donating Firewood

At this time we are not able to provide the ministry of picking up firewood from individuals.

If you have logs or rounds (cut to 14 inch length maximum) and the means to transport them, please contact us. We may be able to accept such materials delivered to our woodlot.

If you have split firewood and means to transport it, please contact us or Sharing House (contact information) for adding to the Sharing House firewood bins.

Financial Contributions

You may donate funds to WNC FireWood through any of our Sponsors, directing the gift to “WNC FireWood”.

As with any organization, WNC FireWood has operating and capital expenses. If you would like additional financial information, please contact us using the Contact Us form.

Organization

WNC FireWood is not a legal entity itself, but a ministry of, authorized by, and run through our Sponsors.

Likewise, WNC FireWood is not itself a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, although donations may be made through our Sponsors who are. Please see them for details.

WNC FireWood operates with a Management Team that reports to the appropriate individual or committee of each Sponsor. The Team consists of five Coordinators (Administrative, Communications, Delivery, Equipment, and Woodlot), each of which manages a portion of our efforts. You may contact any of the coordinators using our Contact Us page.
